The Bundibugyo Talent and Fashion (BTF) Awards 2024 happened on December 24. It was a big event to celebrate local talent and fashion. Mark Rodger hosted the awards, and artistes from Sherax Management were the stars of the night.
Trouble Maker Mwana Weka and Knice Kee, both under Sherax Management, won in important categories:
Best Artiste of the Year: Knice Kee
Best Male Artiste: Trouble Maker
Best RnB Artiste: Knice Kee
Best Video of the Year: Nyumbani by Trouble Maker
Their success showed the hard work and great talent of Sherax Management, making them a big name in Bundibugyo’s music scene.
However, not everything was smooth. Entertainers in Bundibugyo complained about Kasese event promoters. They said Kasese promoters invite Kasese artistes to Bundibugyo but do not invite Bundibugyo artistes to Kasese events.
During the ceremony, MCs Whzzie and Shiddy said they might stop supporting Kasese artistes if this issue continues. “We always help them, but they don’t help us back,” one of the MCs said.
Even with these challenges, the 4th BTF Awards showed how Bundibugyo’s talent is growing. Rising stars like Knice Kee and Trouble Maker are leading the way, and the future looks bright for the local music and fashion industry.
Everyone is now waiting to see if Bundibugyo and Kasese will improve their relationship. One thing is clear: Bundibugyo artistes are ready to shine, and the BTF Awards 2024 proved it.
